Wabi

This series is made from reclaimed oak sourced in Galloway, Scotland.
Trees shaped by wind, rain and slow growth, carrying visible stress and resilience in their grain. Each piece is turned green and allowed to move, crack and deform naturally as it dries.
Warping is not controlled or corrected. The forms remain open, irregular and unresolved, embracing impermanence rather than symmetry or finish. Surface marks, tension lines and distortion are preserved as evidence of time and material behaviour.
The Wabi series is not about perfection but about attention: to what remains, what changes and what cannot be fixed.
