Oak plates turned thin and left to dry freely, allowing the wood to deform, lift and twist without restraint.
Each piece is ebonised using vinegar and iron, darkening the surface while revealing grain, tension and movement.
The final form emerges slowly, shaped as much by time and air as by the initial cut.
